Chance the Rapper is one of my biggest influences in music and he’s one of the reasons that pushed me to write this song, besides God, of course. I wrote this song to serve as a short and simple “thank you” gift to God for all the blessings I have received, am receiving, and will receive in the future. I’ve made a lot of mistakes during my 21 years of existence and I’m really glad He saved me when I needed Him the most. Through Him, I realized that my mistakes don't and won't define me, but I should always learn from it and aim to be a better person.

For all of you overthinking your mistakes, don’t let other people limit you because of it. The important thing is that you’re trying to improve yourself. You’re loved.
